Matchroom Boxing have announced that British lightweight champion Gavin Gwynne will rematch Craig Woodruff at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on April 22nd.
Gwynne and Woodruff fought across twelve close rounds at the Bolton Whites Hotel in September.
Judges Phil Edwards and John Latham scored the bout 114-114 while Terry O’Connor adjudged Gwynne a 116-113 winner meaning the contest ended in a majority draw.
The champion Gwynne kept his title as a result and a rematch was called by the British Boxing Board of Control.
Gwynne and Woodruff, both from Wales, look to settle their differences once again in the Welsh capital on April 22nd.
Joe Cordina headlines the card when he takes on IBF super-featherweight champion Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov for his old world title.
The rest of the undercard will be announced at a later date.
