Bradford’s undefeated lightweight Hamed Ghaz (18-0-0, 4KOs) steps up for his toughest test yet against Doncaster’s experienced Reece Mould (16-1-0, 6KOs) on Friday night.
Issrar Asif’s GBM Sports promotes the event at the Magna Centre in Rotherham which is headed up by the ten-round encounter between the domestic lightweights.
Ghaz enters the bout unbeaten in 18 contests but it is Mould who boasts the greater experience at the highest level.
The 28-year-old endured nine rounds against the current WBA featherweight champion Leigh Wood in 2021 before he was ultimately stopped by the Nottingham man for the British title at 126lbs.
Mould has since regrouped and has climbed two weight divisions to face Ghaz in South Yorkshire on Friday night.
Ghaz meanwhile has only gone eight rounds once so far but nevertheless looks to land the first major title of his career.
Norfolk’s Stevi Levy (7-1-0) returns in a six-round featherweight encounter versus Watford’s Bec Connolly (3-16-0).
Super-flyweight Nicola Hopewell (2-0-0, 1KO) also takes on Ivanka Ivanova (5-21-3, 1KO) over six rounds, while welterweight Joe Hayden (6-0-0) clashes with Jake Osgood (1-15-0) over four.
Faraqat Ali (5-0-0) faces Sam Melville (3-5-0) in a six-round featherweight bout and cruiserweight Sheldon McDonald (5-1-0, 1KO) takes on Bradley Davies (0-1-0).
