Newport’s Sean McGoldrick (12-1-0, 3KOs) looks to land his first major titles when he collides with Lanark’s Scott Allan (11-6-1, 1KO) for the vacant British and Commonwealth titles at bantamweight.

Cardiff’s Vale Sports Arena hosts the Lee Eaton-promoted card on Friday night.

McGoldrick has lost once as a pro so far in a 2019 unanimous decision loss to Thomas Essomba.

Three consecutive victories have since followed for the 31-year-old including one inside the distance.

Allan meanwhile has suffered three defeats in his last five outings to solid domestic opposition against Lee McGregor, Marc Leach and Marcel Braithwaite.

The 30-year-old returned with a fifth-round stoppage in Wishaw last June and looks to add to the Scottish title he claimed six-and-a-half years ago.

Lightweights Rashid Omar (3-0-0) and Conor McIntosh (5-0-0) also clash for the Welsh title in Cardiff.

Neither man has tasted defeat in their combined eight professional contests so far.

A host of prospects will also feature including welterweight Ben Crocker (7-0-0, 1KO) who takes on Martin Shaw (3-10-3, 1KO) over six rounds.

Light-heavyweight Mark Davies also makes his debut in a four-round encounter against Jordan Grannum (8-104-4).
