BOXXER and Sky Sports, in association with Knockout Promotions, will be live from Poland this Saturday. The cards main event will see Croatia’s Alen Babic (11-0, 10 KOs) take on Polands Lukasz Rozanski (14-0, 13 KOs) for the vacant WBC bridgerweight title.
What is the ‘bridgerweight’ division?
The bridgerweight division was created by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and sits between cruiserweight and heavyweight. Boxers competing in the division weigh between 200 and and 224 pounds. The newly found division pays homage to the young yet heroic Bridger Walker who saved his four year old sisters life from a stray dog attack in 2020.
In regard to the main event, fans should expect fireworks from the get go with both men coming into the fight undefeated along with nearly all of their wins coming by way of knockout. The pair have a combination of 23 stoppages in 25 professional bouts. The common opinion is that the fight may not go past four rounds, in what is an explosive match up.

The co main event will see heavyweight Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) look to make a statement against the undefeated Ihor ‘Hulk’ Shevadzutskyi (10-0, 8 KOs), in his BOXXER debut. Despite the one loss on his record, Bakole is coming into the fight off the back of a seven fight winning streak and a commendable win against the Olympic gold medalist Tony Yoka in his last bout.
The card will also see experienced amateur Jeamie TKV (4-0, 2 KOs) make his fifth professional appearance and Steed Woodall (17-1-1, 11 KOs) take on Boris Crighton (11-2, 7 KOs).
