BOXXER and Sky Sports, in association with Knockout Promotions, will be live from Poland this Saturday. The cards main event will see Croatia’s Alen Babic (11-0, 10 KOs) take on Polands Lukasz Rozanski (14-0, 13 KOs) for the vacant WBC bridgerweight title.

What is the ‘bridgerweight’ division?

The bridgerweight division was created by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and sits between cruiserweight and heavyweight. Boxers competing in the division weigh between 200 and and 224 pounds. The newly found division pays homage to the young yet heroic Bridger Walker who saved his four year old sisters life from a stray dog attack in 2020.

In regard to the main event, fans should expect fireworks from the get go with both men coming into the fight undefeated along with nearly all of their wins coming by way of knockout. The pair have a combination of 23 stoppages in 25 professional bouts. The common opinion is that the fight may not go past four rounds, in what is an explosive match up.
