Former British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora will be hoping that the BBBofC will reinstate his boxing licence in time for him to fight on the Frank Warren promoted ‘Rule Britannia’ big Wembley Arena show on March 16.

Chisora’s last fight was the controversial grudge match with David Haye in July a fight that was sanctioned by the Luxembourg boxing board.

Promoter Frank Warren worked with the Luxembourg outfit after the Londoner was banned indefinitely by the British Boxing Board of Control following his brawl with Haye at the post fight Munich press conference following defeat to Vitali Klitschko.
“It’s back to the drawing board, he’s reapplied for his licence and subject to that he’ll be involved in an international 10-round fight against someone to be named,” said Warren.
“It’s a year on, he’s been a good lad and hopefully all that’s behind us.”
