Former British champion Gary Sykes from Dewsbury and Manchester’s Jon Kays weighed in today ahead of their English super featherweight title fight on the undercard of Amir Khan vs Julio Diaz at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield tomorrow night (Saturday).
Defending English champion Sykes tipped the scales at 9st 3lb 2oz, well inside the 9st 4lb super featherweight limit, while challenger Kays weighed in at 9st 2lb 13 oz. Both fighters spoke to iFilmLondon, gave their views on the fight and what a win would mean for their careers.
