Frankie Gavin stopped Michael Lomax in round seven at the York Hall, Bethnal Green on Saturday night in a fine performance and one that he feels deserves him a shot at the British light-welterweight title.
On the same night at Wembley Ashley Theopane claimed the British title with a points win over Lenny Daws in another outstanding performance and a fight between these two would be a very interesting proposition.
“I’ve seen his (Theophane’s) fights and he’s a class act. But I’ll beat him hands down if he step up to the plate and faces me.” Gavin said.
