2nd December 2011
BritishBoxers visited Gallagher’s Gym to watch John Murray train ahead of his WBA world lightweight title challenge against Brandon ‘Bam Bam’ Rios at Madison Square Garden, in America on December 3.
Joe in the famous words of Kevin Keegan says:
I’d love it, I’d just love it! – If we went over there and won it, I’d just love it, I’d just love it! – Joe Gallagher, November 2011.
Again Joe speaks openly to us about John’s preparations for the fight, the lack of press coverage surrounding this big fight and title opportunity for a British boxer going into the other fellows back yard. Gallagher also speaks about the pair getting back together, after splitting temporary before this fight was announced.
Joe as usual pulls no punches in his assessments and views on the fight his fighter, Rios and the whole event and what it would mean to them if John was to win it.
