Scott Quigg
Scott Quigg has undertaken a battery of tests and left experts convinced that he’s one of the fittest boxers in the world.
Quigg, 24, meets Leicester southpaw Rendall Munroe in a rematch on November 24 with the vacant WBA interim super-bantamweight title at stake.
Their 12 rounder is one of several big contests on the Manchester Arena bill headed by Ricky Hatton’s comeback fight against Vyacheslav Senchenko.

Bury’s Quigg (24-0-1) spent a day with his strength and conditioning coach Ric Moylan University of Salford, Human Performance Laboratory.
The results left professionals in that field amazed as the British champ flew through the assessments.
Moylan revealed: “When it came to fitness levels, Scott was up there with elite endurance athletes like Sir Chris Hoy and Mo Farah.
“I have been involved with professional sportsmen for 15 years and Scott is one of the fitness guys I have ever seen.
“He did fitness, performance and endurance tests, blood analysis, and urine tests, but Scott’s determination was equally as impressive as his world class fitness.
“During the tests Scott just wanted to push on. We all hope the benefits will show in Scott’s rematch against Rendall.”
Quigg’s first contest against Munroe (24-2-1) took place in June, but ended in a third round technical draw because of a badly cut right eye to his rival.

On the same bill Sergey Rabchenko (21-0) defends his European light-middleweight crown against Frenchman Cedric Vitu (35-1), Martin Murray (24-0-1) will feature in title action and Gary Buckland (26-2) risks his British super-featherweight title against local idol Stephen Foster Jr (30-3-1).
Also in action are Hatton Promotions hopefuls Ashley Theophane (32-5-1), James Dickens (12-0), Adam Etches (9-0) and Scott Jenkins (6-0) and Sam O’Maison (3-0).
