The BBBofC today published their latest British championship circular with news of the fights that are being put out to purse bids and match-ups that are made.
CRUISERWEIGHT
JON LEWIS DICKINSON (Holder) v NEIL DAWSON
The Stewards decided to postpone purse bids for the above contest and will consider this Championship next month.
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT (Vacant)
OVILL MCKENZIE v BOB AJISAFE
Following the Championship being declared vacant as Anthony Bellew is unable to defend against Bob Ajisafe due to boxing for the WBC Light Heavyweight eliminator contest, the Stewards decided to put out the above contest for purse bids to be submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions attached to the Board’s Head Office by 12.00noon on Wednesday, 12th June 2013, the contest to take place by the end of September 2013.
COURTNEY FRY v DEAN FRANCIS
The above contest to be promoted by Steve Wood, will take place at a venue and on a date as yet to be advised.

The above contest to be promoted by Frank Warren, will take place on Saturday, 15th June 2013 at Wembley Arena.

Following the opening of purse bids on Wednesday, 8th May 2013, at the Board’s Head Office, the winning bid was submitted by Promoter Eddie Hearn. The above contest will take place on a date and at a venue as yet to be advised.

Following the relinquishment of the Championship by Brian Rose, the Stewards decided to put out the above contest for purse bids to be submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions attached to the Board’s Head Office by 12.00noon on Wednesday, 12th June 2013, the contest to take place by the end of September 2013.

GARY SYKES v STEPHEN SMITH
The Stewards decided to put out the above final eliminator contest for purse bids to be submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions attached to the Board’s Head Office by 12.00noon on Wednesday, 12th June 2013, the contest to take place by the end of September 2013.
This contest is also for the English Championship and therefore purse bids will be split 60% – 40%.
