Former WBO cruiserweight world champion Enzo Maccarinelli says he hopes to put a horrendous 2012 behind him by claiming the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title next month, when he challenges champion Ovill McKenzie.
Swansea fighter Maccarinelli will face old foe McKenzie again in a rematch after he was controversially stopped by the Jamaican born Derby boxer in November last year. They’ll square up this time on the undercard of Nathan Cleverly’s world title defence against the big punching Sergey Kovalev on August 17th in Cardiff.
“He’s going to try knock me out and I’m going to try knock him out, I cant wait lets get it on.”
In the video interview above ‘Big Mac’ talks about the last fight against McKenzie and the controversial stoppage, how he will be victorious this time around and also responds to the fans who would like to see him call it a day!
