David Price (15-1, 13 KOs) and Tony “The Tiger” Thompson (37-3, 25 KOs) give their final thoughts ahead of their anticipated rematch on Saturday night. Thompson dramatically stopped the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion in the second round in February and now the Liverpool heavyweight seeks redemption.
Price, who turns 30 on Saturday, took part in a press conference today with Thompson, at the Radisson Blu hotel in Liverpool City Centre. Afterwards they spoke about the fight and gave there final thoughts on how they see themselves winning.
“It’s the biggest fight of my career without a doubt, everything is on the line, if it were to go wrong on Saturday, where would I go? But I’m not thinking about losing, I’m thinking about the rewards if I win. It’s my chance to go back in time to February and wipe the slate clean.”
