George Groves is on course to re-establish his career after the two setback losses to British rival Carl Froch, the last in May 2014, but it seems the name of the Cobra wont go away any-time soon and he will always be asked the Froch question?
In America, where Groves is on a press tour to promote his fight with WBC super-middleweight world champion Badou Jack on 12th September 2015 on the Mayweather Jr vs Andre Berto bill at the MGM grand in Las Vegas, he spoke to US based Fight Hype, about Froch.
“I’m not surprised he retired, said Groves, when asked about his rival hanging up the gloves.
“It’s probably about time that he retired before I win a belt and everyone starts talking about me and him fighting again…he’ll soon get forgotten…I don’t like him…we’ve got nothing in common,” stated super middleweight contender George Groves, who shared his thoughts on the retirement of former super middleweight champion.
