In the first episode of our NEW Series ‘In The Car with’ we are joined by Jack Catterall (24-0, 13KOs) Nicknamed ‘El Gato’ Jack is an unbeaten super-lightweight from Chorley in Lancashire.
‘El Gato’ or ‘The Cat’ is world ranked No1 to WBO world super-lightweight champ champ Jose Ramirez and currently rated as one of the best British boxers on the circuit and fully expected to contest the world crown in the coming months.
It was sparring day today for Jack over at Elite Boxing Gym in Bolton, so we picked him up from his home and took him there. Jack sparred with former MMA star turned pro boxer Jack McGann (3-0-1, 1KO) in some very competitive rounds.
We had a chat on the way there and back to find out what he has been up to, an update on his mandatory position for the title and more… Including gym and sparring footage and interviews with both boxers coaches, former pros Jamie Moore and Alex Matvienko.
