Boxing promoters have been forced to innovate throughout the pandemic in order to continue getting boxers out, on Friday night, however, Dennis Hobson takes that to a new level with the ‘Straightener in the Car Park Show’.
As he spoke to BBTV, the Sheffield promoter was gleefully excited as Friday’s show looms closer. He emphasised the show is one ‘that will make a statement that we are players in the promoting game’.
The show is headlined by undefeated flyweight Tommy Frank, who takes on tough Mexican Rosendo Hugo Guarneros Gonzalez, as he looks to pave the way for a big Sheffield derby against Kyle Yousaf.
Heavyweight banger Kash Ali also returns on the card and Hobson underlined to BBTV that he has ‘unfinished business’ with former foe David Price.
