Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn told iFL TV on Thursday that he is actively working on a heavyweight clash between Britain’s popular Dereck Chisora and America’s Adam Kownacki. Hearn went on the state that the former world title challenger Chisora had signed his side of the deal, as pictured on the thirty-eight-year-old veteran’s social media in recent days, and that the only signature required now is that of the Polish-American Kownacki.

Both men are coming off back-to-back defeats to the same fighters, with Chisora losing much more convincingly in his rematch with Joseph Parker in December than the scorecards might suggest, while ‘Babyface’ Kownacki was demolished inside six in his re-run with a rejuvenated Robert Helenius.

Many inside the British boxing fraternity had urged Chisora to lace up the gloves after a long, strenuous career atop of the premier division in the sport, but it appears ‘Del Boy’ is to continue to rumble on and is showing no signs of calling it a day anytime soon.
