BOXXER’s Ben Shalom today told Boxing Social that terms have now been agreed for a heavyweight clash between Hughie Fury and Michael Hunter, with a date and venue among the remaining details to be ironed out.
Early July was said to be the most likely timing for the bout to take place as both men seek to re-climb the heavyweight rankings as they gear towards a shot at world honours in the sport’s premier division, with Fury running out a comfortable winner inside five rounds against Christian Hammer last October, while Hunter could only draw with Jerry Forrest over ten rounds in December respectively.
