Top Rank formally announced on Monday that WBO middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly will defend his title versus Battersea’s Denzel Bentley on November 12th in Las Vegas.
Alimkhanuly was upgraded to full champion in recent months following Demetrius Andrade‘s vacation of the title at 160lbs, and the Kazakh will look to make the first defence of his strap against the Brit at the Palms Casino Resort.
Bentley recently disposed of Marcus Morrison inside four rounds against Manchester’s Marcus Morrison in defence of his British title at 160lbs and now lands himself the opportunity of a lifetime against the avoided Kazakh in November. Alimkhanuly, who boasts a record of twelve victories in as many contests, including eight inside the distance, enjoyed a glittering amateur career and looks to replicate that success in the paid ranks.
WBA minimumweight champion and pound-for-pound star Seniesa Estrada will also appear on the card as she looks to defend her title against Jazmin Gala Villarino of Argentina.
