A middleweight clash between Chris Eubank Jnr and Liam Smith is reportedly being targeted for January 21st at Manchester’s AO Arena.
The report comes courtesy of No Smoke Boxing.
BOXXER CEO Ben Shalom confirmed that most terms had been agreed last week and that the only details left to be ironed out were the date and location.
The iconic AO Arena in Manchester looks set to host the clash, holding a maximum capacity of 20,000 people.
The contest is set to be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office, with a purchase price still to be confirmed at the time of writing.
Eubank Jnr was set to collide with Conor Benn in October before the latter tested positive for trace amounts of clomifene.
Smith meanwhile halted Hassan Mwakinyo inside four rounds on September 3rd.
