Harlem Eubank maintained his undefeated record with a dominant ten-round performance against Tom Farrell on Friday night.
Eubank’s hand speed and footwork were levels above that of the Liverpudlian on the night, displaying superb shot selection to bank the majority of the rounds on the judge’s scorecards (99-91 twice and 99-92 respectively).
The Brighton man was however hurt in the fourth by a Farrell right-hand which forced his legs to dip as he retreated to the ropes.
Eubank survived the round though and was dominant from then on to move to 16-0-0(6KOs) as a professional.
Liam Williams marked his return at middleweight with a devastating second-round knockout of Nizar Trimech.
The Welshman started fast, flooring Trimech midway through the first with a left-hand before continuing to pummel the Frenchman upon the restart.
Trimech survived the first but was laid flat out in the second as a Williams right-hand was immediately followed by a winging left.
The shot left Trimech limp on the canvas with no hope of continuing in the fight.
Williams now eyes a big 2023 where he hopes to move towards a second shot at world honours at 160lbs.
Further down the card, Chloe Watson secured her fourth professional victory in as many outings with a wide 60-54 victory over Minerva Gutierrez at flyweight.
Bilal Fawaz however suffered a shock 37-39 defeat to Ayoub Zakari in their four-round super-welterweight contest.
Fawaz’s record now stands at 4-1-0.
Cruiserweight Geijan Rojku halted Gennadi Stserbin in the fourth and final round to move to 3-0-0.
