Wasserman Boxing have announced that Liam Williams will take on France’s Nizar Trimech at York Hall on November 25th.
The Welshman hasn’t fought since his unanimous decision defeat to Chris Eubank Jnr in Cardiff in February.
Williams was dropped four times on the way to the loss to Eubank Jnr which proved to be his second consecutive loss after his world title defeat to Demetrius Andrade in 2021.
Trimech meanwhile has three defeats to his name but did hold Kamil Szeremeta to a majority draw last year.
The Poland man challenged middleweight king Gennadiy Golovkin in 2020.
