Stefy Bull has stated that Eddie Hearn has sent a “large high end 6 figure offer” to Natasha Jonas for a rematch against Terri Harper for the undisputed super-welterweight championship.

Bull, who trains and manages Harper, posted the statement on Twitter.

In full the Tweet read, “I can confirm that a large high end 6 figure offer has been sent to team Jonas for #HarperJonas2 from Matchroom Boxing. 1 of the best female fights to have taken place. Undisputed on the line. It’s got history it’s got everything.”

Jonas reacted to the post with a Tweet of her own.

“Big 6 figures? Oxymoron stop the cap. I’ve been getting 6 figures since I left [Matchroom]. But we’ll see,” said the Liverpudlian.

The pair fought in 2020 for Harper’s WBC super-featherweight title.

The fight was controversially scored as a split-decision draw despite many scoring the bout in favour of the challenger Jonas.

An immediate rematch was initially rumoured but failed to develop.

Jonas went on to lose a close fight to Katie Taylor nine months later at lightweight before penning a long-term deal with BOXXER and Sky Sports.

The thirty-eight-year-old has since picked up the WBC, WBO and IBF belts at 154lbs.

The latter was added in her ten-round decision victory over Marie Eve Dicaire in Manchester on Saturday.

Harper meanwhile suffered an eye-opening second-round knockout defeat to Alycia Baumgardner 15 months on from the Jonas fight to surrender her WBC title at 130lbs.

A brief stint at lightweight in her return was followed by a jump to super-welterweight to take on WBA champion Hannah Rankin in September.

Doncaster’s Harper looked to enjoy a new lease of life at the new weight, emerging a wide winner on the scorecards after ten pulsating rounds in Nottingham.

A potential rematch between the pair would crown Britain’s second undisputed female champion, following Chantelle Cameron who holds all the marbles at super-lightweight.
