Dennis Hobson‘s Fight Zone UK will televise the first defence of Kirstie Bavington (6-2-2, 2KOs)‘s European title in Rotherham on Saturday night as she takes on Noami Mannes (6-0-0, 4KOs).
Bavington picked up the vacant belt with a wide unanimous points decision over Timea Belik over ten rounds in May.
Germany’s Mannes is undefeated in six outings so far and has halted four of her six opponents inside the distance.
Mannes is stepping up to a ten-round contest for the first time as a professional.
The furthest she has gone as a pro so far was in a six-round points victory in July last year.
Saturday’s undercards includes bantamweight Connor Butler (8-0-1, 1KO) who takes on Stephen Jackson (1-26-1, 1KO) over six rounds.
Light-heavyweight prospect Adam Hepple (2-0-0) returns for his third pro outing against Konstantin Aleksandrov (10-59-4, 3KOs) in a six-round encounter.
Connor Daubney (1-0-0) returns at middleweight in a four-round clash with Fernando Valencia (9-43-5, KOs).
Joe Hayden (4-0-0) also takes on journeyman Seamus Devlin (1-44-1) over the same distance at super-middleweight.
The card will also feature a debutant in the form of Sheffield’s Mason Dickinson, who faces Berman Sanchez (30-32-4, 22KOs) in a four-round middleweight contest.
