Dalton Smith spoke to BBTV last week ahead of his super lightweight clash with Maxwell:

“It’s probably been my best camp to date”

“This is a fight that’s gave me that bit of hunger”

If Smith is victorious come Saturday night he will join a list of big names in British boxing history that have also won the British title outright such as Henry Cooper, Lennox Lewis, Carl Froch, Jhonny Nelson and Kell Brook. Winning the prestigious title outright and putting on a quality performance on Saturday night brings Smith closer to his dream of headlining Hillsborough stadium, in what is ultimately a step up fight.

Also on the card:

Commonwealth gold medalist and Olympic silver medalist Pat McCormack (4-0, 3 KOs) will take on Tony Dixon (14-4, 4 KOs). McCormack is undeniably one to watch in the professional game and boxing fans should expect a dominant and exciting performance come Saturday night.

Hopey Price (10-0, 3 KOs) moves up to featherweight and takes on James Beech Jnr (15-4, 2 KOs)

Junaid Bostan steps up against undefeated Ryan Amos (10-0-1, 1 KO) and looks to pick up his sixth consecutive knockout whilst putting on a dominant and entertaining performance. Bostan recently spoke to BBTV:
