British super-welterweight champion Josh Kelly will now face Gabriel Corzo on July 15th at the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle.
The new date was confirmed by Wasserman Boxing this morning with the pair initially set to face-off on June 24th before Kelly sustained an injury in training.
Sunderland’s Kelly picked up the win of his career so far with a dominant twelve-round display over Troy Williamson in December which saw him claim the British title at 154lbs.
The 29 year old looks to continue his momentum against the undefeated Corzo who has never fought outside his native Argentina.
The card will be shown live on DAZN, with a host of British talent featuring on the undercard.
Qais Ashfaq faces Liam Dillion for the vacant British super-featherweight title, while flyweight Chloe Watson (5-0-0) features against Laura Valdebenito (5-4-1, 2KOs) in her sixth outing.
Joe Laws also returns at middleweight.
