British heavyweight David Adeleye (11-0-0, 10KOs) returns to Bethnal Green’s iconic York Hall on Friday evening on the back of five consecutive victories inside the distance.

Serbian-born Emir Ahmatovic (12-1-0, 9KOs) stands in the opposing corner this time out, 18 months after he was stopped in three rounds by Croatian powerhouse Filip Hrgovic.

A host of domestic prospects also feature on the undercard of the Frank Warren and Queensberry’s Promotions show, live on BT Sport.

Adeleye is chasing down British heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley after the latter’s fight with Frazer Clarke recently fell through.

The pair came face-to-face at a press conference during Wardley’s most recent fight week in March but any hopes of domestic title shots are on hold until Adeleye moves past Ahmatovic this weekend.

Adeleye disposed of Dmytro Bezus inside two rounds in February at the historic venue, while Ahmatovic has responded to the Hrgovic defeat with two victories of his own.

The 24-year-old has secured four stoppage in his last five outings.

Hammersmith super-lightweight Henry Turner (10-0-0, 3KOs) also features as he takes on Liverpool’s experienced Tom Farrell (21-6-0, 5KOs), while super-featherweight prospect Royston Barney-Smith (5-0-0, 3KOs) faces Christian Flores (14-25-2, 12KOs) over six.

Hard-hitting cruiserweight Tommy Fletcher (4-0-0, 3KOs) faces-off against Pawel Strykowski (3-22-1) over the same distance.
