Birkenhead flyweight Chloe Watson (6-0) will face France’s Justine Lallemand (9-2-1, 1KO) for the vacant European title, as per the European Boxing Union.

The fight will take place on a Wasserman Boxing card in Brighton on November 10th.

Watson has won all six of her pro contests so far, including an impressive eight-round points victory over Argentine Laura Valdebenito earlier this month.

The 23 year old signed with Paul Ready and STN Sports during that fight week, with Ready confirming Wasserman had won the purse bids for the Lallemand clash on Twitter.

“Busy week for @ChloeWatson111 signed with STN, EBU title purse bid won and most importantly 8 rounds banked opening the live broadcast on @DAZNBoxing.”

Lallemand has already challenged for the belt, losing a ten-round split-decision to Martina Bernile in November last year.

All of her other contests have taken place in her native France but the 31 year old will now travel across the channel to face Watson in the South-East of England towards the end of the year.
