Undefeated lightweight prospect Caroline Dubois (7-0, 5KOs) will headline her first professional show on September 30th, BOXXER have announced.
The 22 year old will challenge Mexico’s Magali Rodriguez (22-6-4, 9KOs) for the lesser IBO title at Bethnal Green’s York Hall.
Dubois competed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as a lightweight before entering the paid ranks in February 2022, amassing five stoppage victories in her first seven outings.
A comfortably eight-round points victory came in her last outing in June as she continues to surge towards world title challenges.
Rodriguez meanwhile recently held France’s Estelle Mossely to a majority-draw four months ago.
Riley and Simpson return on the undercard
London cruiserweight Viddal Riley (9-0, 6KOs) challenges for his first major title on the undercard as he takes on Liverpool’s Nathan Quarless (12-0) for the vacant English cruiserweight title.
Riley secured a second consecutive stoppage defeat over Anees Taj in June after the first was stopped on a cut while Quarless won a six-round points decision last time out in March.
Barnsley super-middleweight Callum Simpson (12-0, 9KOs) also faces former English titleholder Germaine Brown (13-2, 4KOs).
Further undercard announcements are set to come.
