A huge night of action which features former world champions Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23KOs) and Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42KOS) has been confirmed to tae place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 23rd.

The Briton will face-off against Sweden’s Otto Wallin (26-1, 14KOs) in the main event while Wilder takes on New Zealand’s Joseph Parker (33-3, 23KOs) in the chief support.

IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia and WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11KOs) are also among those featuring on the card.

Joshua-Wilder match-up planned for 2024

Former heavyweight champions Joshua and Wilder are set to face-off in 2024 providing both emerge unscathed from their respective bouts versus Wallin and Parker.

London’s Joshua has already fought twice in 2023, winning by unanimous decision versus Jermaine Franklin in April before stopping late replacement opponent Robert Helenius by seventh-round stoppage in August.

Wallin is expected to be the toughest test of the three however and enters the bout on the back of an impressive win over Murat Gassiev in September.

Wilder meanwhile only has a single round under his belt since his eleventh-round stoppage defeat to WBC champion Tyson Fury in October 2021.

The 38-year-old halted the aforementioned Helenius in the final seconds of the first in October 2022 but has not fought since.

Parker however has three wins to his name already this year – the last two coming inside the distance – as he looks to upset plans for a potential Joshua-Wilder showdown next year.

World champions Opetaia and Bivol also set to feature

The undercard also includes IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia (23-0, 18KOs) who is set to make the second defence of his title against heavy underdog Ellis Zorro (17-0, 7KOs) of London.

Australia’s Opetaia won the belt with a surprise unanimous decision victory over Mairis Breidis in July 2022.

WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (21-0, 11KOs) also faces British opposition as he collides with Manchester’s Lyndon Arthur (23-1, 16KOs).

The Russian dominated Gilberto Ramirez over twelve rounds in November last year after picking up the win of his career against Canelo Alvarez six months prior.

Arthur meanwhile picked up the IBO title at 175lbs with a tenth-round stoppage of Braian Suarez in September.

British heavyweight Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18KOs) also returns against the disgraced American Jarrell Miller (26-0-1, 22KOs) in the former’s first fight since a ninth-round defeat to unified champion Oleksandr Usyk.

IBF mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic (16-0, 13KOs) will also meet Australia’s Mark De Mori (41-2-2, 36KOs), while Cuba’s Frank Sanchez (23-0, 16KOs) takes on Agit Kabayel (23-0, 15KOs).
