The British Boxing Board of Control Charity is organising a charity challenge – a cycle across Cuba called ‘Cycle Cuba with the Champs’.
It is being led by Nicky Piper, Glen McCrory, Johnny Nelson, Glen Catley and Darren Barker and it is hoped that 65 members of the public will sign up for the trip and, in the process, raise money for the charity which funds medical research and looks after boxers in need.
To take part, one has to pay £299 to register and then raise £2,900 over the next 12 months through sponsorship and fundraising.
The ride is from 23rd October to 31st October 2015.
This ride will be the trip of a lifetime – not only will you take in all the beautiful sights of Cuba, but, on the last day, we will be visiting the famous Rafael Trejo gym in Havana and watch boxers train, spa and get to meet famous Olympic gold medalists such as Felix Savon.
The trip is being organised by Global Adventure Challenges.
