I have been a pro referee since 1978 and have been involved in hundreds of fights as a ref. or judge with about 150 of them being for a “world” title. - Because of the BBBofC policy of retiring referees at 65 I have not worked in the UK since 2006 except for the two occasions when fights under the Luxembourg commission and the German Boxing Association where promoted over here. - I still referee/judge abroad for the W.B.O. and am an active member on one of there committees. - I now feel that I would like to write about boxing, past and present, giving my views and opinions. - I am what is called “a student of boxing” and have great historical knowledge of the sport and I look forward to contributing to British Boxers.
