Finchley and District ABC, have had another great week in the history of there club, boasting 11 winners and 22 champions in the last seven months.

During the club’s own show at the Boston Dome, Uthman Chaima, Zac Chaima, Jack Holding, Ben White, Charlie Rice, Alan Higgins and Jim Norris were all worthy winners.

Ben Illeyemi was also victorious in Romford on the following night.

There were two successes at Park Royal, Adam Chaima seeing off two-times schoolboy champion Jay Smith and Alex Zendra triumphing too.

To complete a fine week, Connor Buckle won his bout for the Home Counties against an Ireland team at Luton. 
Coach John Oliver said: “We are going great guns. It’s been a fantastic run. We have had 22 champions in the last seven months.”

Finchley and District ABC has consistently been producing Schoolboy, National and International Amateur Champions up to Olympic level. It has also trained and produced World Rated professional boxers of the calibre of Spencer “The Omen” Oliver (who is now regularly on the Sky Sports Panel offering expert analysis and commentary on all the major fights from around the world) and ex-British Champion Sean Murphy who challenged Steve Robinson for the World Featherweight Title (who is famously remembered for being dethroned by “Prince” Naseem Hamed for the WBO World Title).
