Fight Video: Liverpool’s Tony Bellew successfully defended his Commonwealth title, but he had to climb off the canvas twice before stopping Ovill McKenzie.
The 28-year-old scouser has been touted as one of the stars of the future, but failed to live up to his own hype this time out, but was impressive when he eventually got into the fight, putting his punches together better as the fight wore on.
Bellew looks to be something of a slow starter with a tendency to get caught cold. Showing a leaky defence, he was to touch down twice in the early rounds of the fight, before battling back to stop McKenzie in the ninth.
