Brook, 25, claimed a clear unanimous points decision over the Mancunian to move himself even closer to an inevitable world title shot later this year and a fight with another British foe, Amir Khan..
Brook, now with a 27-0 (18KOs) record couldn’t and didnt switch off for a second against the determined, but mainly out classed Hatton, Brook had all the answers to anything Hatton tried and stayed in control throughout the fight.
The final scores read: 118-109, 119-108 and 119-107.
