Blackpool’s Brian ‘The Lion’ Rose (25-1-1, 7 KOs) weighed in for his world title challenge against undefeated WBO junior-middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (20-0, 13 KOs) The American champion will be making the first title defence of his belt, against No. 1 contender and mandatory challenger Rose.
Rose has listened to Andrades taunts and verbal’s in the run up to the fight and during the press conference and weigh in Andrade was goading Rose, who has remained un-fazed and let the champion carry on. At the weigh-in though Rose this time was not ready to be pushed around and bullied this close to the fight and rattled the champion by standing in front of him on the stage and lifting his arms to salute the British fans who were in attendance.
