Hughie Fury (20-0, 10KO) was disappointed to have to recently pull out of his WBO world heavyweight title challenge against the unbeaten Joseph Parker in New Zealand due to a back injury.
Parker ended up facing Romanian Razvan Cojanu instead in his first title defence. The champion won via a unanimous decision.
On Saturday night in Bolton British Boxers caught up with Hughie to discuss his thoughts on the situation and to clarify his position as a mandatory challenger and find out the fight could now take place in Fury’s hometown of Manchester with a reschedule date ready to be announced soon.
