Zelfa “Brown Flash” Barrett (17-0, 10KOS) put on the best display of his career so far to outpoint the experienced durable Nicaraguan Eusebio Osejo, (28-21-3, 8KOs) (99-90) at Bolton’s Macron Stadium on Saturday night (May 19)

Last year Osejo had fought a draw with former world champion Kiko Martinez. After that he lost a close decision to Oleg Malynovsky for the European title. He has also been the distance with former world champion Jhonny Gonzalez. And holds a win over US prospect John ‘Action’ Jackson. But against rising Mancunian rookie Barrett he had no answers and was outboxed, out fought and dropped twice in a good main event in Bolton.

The young gun from Collyhurst and Moston Boxing Gym takes his record to 17-0, 10 wins ending early, and now looks ready to make the step up into domestic title action by the end of the year.

After the fight we spoke to Zelfa and got his thoughts on a good victory. This video also includes ringside footage and post fight meeting footage of Zelfa meeting Osejo back stage.
