The deal, which is said to be for Fury’s next five fights, will be covered by ESPN in the US while remaining on BT Sport in the UK.

What about a rematch with Wilder or a future fight with Anthony Joshua, they are signed with different TV broadcasters?

At a press conference in London today, promoter Frank Warren said the deal for Fury was “something special”.

Fury also said he believes the move makes a fight with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder “more make-able”. However, his fights will be broadcast on ESPN in the US, which could be a stumbling block with Wilder fighting on Showtime.

Many believe It could also effect Fury from securing a fight with Anthony Joshua who fights on streaming platform DAZN across the Atlantic.

Fury though claims the move only now makes him stronger in negotiations and gives him the platform to cash-in on his value.

“It gives me an opportunity to fight on the biggest broadcaster in the world and to make the biggest and best fights possible.” explained Fury.

“They have to come through me, this is the Tyson Fury show.”

“As far as I’m concerned the fight is more make-able now, we have the biggest boys in town behind us.

“If you’re watching, Deontay I’m coming for you, and this time you can’t rip me off!”
