Former British heavyweight champion and world title challenger Hughie Fury will face former world champion “Nigerian Nightmare” Samuel Peter on the undercard of Amir Khan’s fight with Billy Dib on July 12th at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Fury, 24, who lost a disputed points decision when challenging for the WBO heavyweight title against Joseph Parker in 2017 is back campaigning and hoping to get another shot in the near future by keeping as active as possible.
Last month Fury made light work of unbeaten Canadian Chris Norrad with a 2nd round stoppage and makes a quick return against the 38-year-old Peter early next month. Big punching Peter who defeated Oleg Maskaev in 2008 to claim the WBC world heavyweight crown is also well known for his battles with both Klitschko brothers.
