This Saturday night (Sep 21st) Contender-VIP hold their first show ‘Fight Series One’ at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. It is a SOLD OUT dinner show but you can watch the event LIVE, EXCLUSIVE and FREE on British Boxers YouTube Channel BBTV.
It is the light-heavyweights and middleweights who fight it out in this first round, for a chance to fight for the new Phil Martin Trophy and a substantial purse. Topping the bill will be local lad Jake James who goes in against Poland’s Kamil Mlodzinski.
The Contender-VIP the tournament kicks-off with the middleweight contingent, Kyle Lomotey faces Craig Kelly. Then we have John Telford vs Jason Byrne.
Onto the light-heavyweights and we have Diego Costa in a potential classic brawl against Darryl Sharp. In the second light-heavy bout Boris Crighton takes on Jermaine Springer.
