Manuel Charr posted a video via social media on Thursday morning accusing WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury of ‘ducking him’.
“Fury, you are the same shit like Anthony Joshua”, said Charr. “A man is a man, when you say Joshua is out [of the running] he is out. You tell everyone you want to fight me, now you are like a duck. Take the fight.“
The video follows Fury’s post earlier in the day that talks were continuing with Anthony Joshua‘s team for a potential showdown in Cardiff on December 3rd, despite announcing that fight would no longer happen on Monday due to Joshua’s failure to return a signed contract in time. Fury then hinted that it would be Charr who he would face in the Welsh capital, posting a picture of the Germany-based heavyweight with the caption ‘looking forward to fighting a man who wants to fight and has fire and desire‘.
It now appears that the Joshua fight is back on with negotiations continuing between the two camps. Fury has set Joshua another deadline of until the end of the day [Thursday] to return a signed agreement.
