Manchester welterweight prospect Sean Ben Mulligan has his 5th pro fight on Saturday night (May 7th) when he boxes on the Anthony Crolla’s first world title defence at the Manchester Arena against Ismael Barroso.
Mulligan, a product of the Collyhurst and Moston boxing club and trained by former Champion Pat Barrett, talks about his fight against Duayne Grimes in July last year when he nearly lost and was rushed to hospital afterwards suffering dehydration and a perforated eardrum.
He recently came back with a good win over experienced journeyman Kristian Laight and even managed to drop his teak tough opponent, not many do!
After years of weight making issues, Ben is now being given the correct advice from his brother and reaping the benefits in and out of the ring and he says he cant wait until Saturday.
