Matchroom Boxing have announced new dates for Galal Yafai, Ellie Scotney and Shannon Courtenay in the wake of the Chris Eubank Jr versus Conor Benn fallout.
Scotney, who was set to challenge European champion Mary Romero in a ten-round contest, will now face the Spaniard at the end of this month on the undercard of Katie Taylor versus Karen Carbajal.
Tokyo 2020 gold medalist Yafai meanwhile will now travel to Abu Dhabi on November 5th to take on Mexico’s Gohan Rodriguez across ten rounds. Courtenay’s will appear in Leeds on December 10th, with an opponent yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.
The three, who were set to fight on the undercard of Eubank Jr and Benn this weekend, were informed they would no longer be fighting due to an ‘adverse finding’ arising in the latter’s VADA test.
