Vinco Boxing and BBTV present a ten-round welterweight clash between Liam Taylor (24-2-1, 11KOs) and Martin Harkin (15-2-0, 6KOs) on Saturday night from the Bolton Whites Hotel.
The event will mark the maiden show put on by the new promotional outfit and features an intriguing main event between two men vowing to surge up the domestic ranks at 147lbs. Taylor last appeared ten months ago in a successful six-round encounter in what was his first fight since defeat to European champion David Avanesyan two months prior.
Harkin meanwhile is on a two fight victory streak since coming up short to big domestic names in Michael McKinson and Kaisee Benjamin, and has already featured twice in 2022. The fight is a crucial one for both men as they look to build momentum towards potential title shots in the near future.
The card is also set to feature a host of domestic prospects, including Birmingham featherweight Raza Hamza (16-0-1, 7KOs) who takes on Nicaragua’s Darwin Martinez (7-3-2, 6KOs) in a six-round contest. Featherweight Adam Carberry (3-0-0, 1KO) makes his fourth professional appearance in a four-round bout versus Reynaldo Cajina (15-69-5, 11KOs).
Two debutants are also set to feature, including the long-anticipated maiden appearance of heavyweight Ricky Gorman who faces Milen Paunov (5-9-0, 4KOs) in a four-round clash. Welterweight Lee Milburn also walks to a professional ring for the first time against Steven Maguire (3-29-1, 1KO) over four rounds.
The show will be streamed live on BBTV‘s YouTube channel, with coverage set to begin at around 7pm UK time.
