Ireland’s Katie Taylor (21-0-0, 6KOs) looks to continue her legacy on Saturday night when she defends her undisputed lightweight title against Argentina’s Karen Carabajal (19-0-0, 2KOs).

Taylor edged out fellow pound-for-pound star Amanda Serrano six months ago in one of the standout contests of 2022 so far.

A rematch with the Puerto Rican is being targeted for Dublin’s Croke Park for 2023 but the London 2012 gold medalist must first find a way past the unknown quantity Carabajal this weekend.

The Argentine boasts an undefeated record in nineteen contests but has not yet faced opposition anywhere near the level of Taylor and enters Saturday evening a considerable underdog.

Jordan Gill (27-1-1, 8KOs) also defends his European featherweight title against former world champion Kiko Martinez (43-11-2, 30KOs).

Gill claimed the belt with a sensational comeback victory over Karim Guerfi in March and faces the toughest test of his career so far against the Spaniard.

Martinez snatched a major upset victory of his own when he turned the tides against Kid Galahad in six rounds last year.

Ellie Scotney (5-0-0) hopes to land her first major title when she takes on European super-bantamweight champion Mary Romero (8-2-0, 2KOs).

The latter hasn’t lost for six years but faces one of Britain’s top prospects in the Catford fighter.

Lightweight Gary Cully (14-0-0, 8KOs) fights for the first time since penning a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing. The Irishman takes on Frenchman Jaouad Belmehdi (16-0-3, 7KOs) over ten-rounds.

The Central Area light-heavyweight title will also be on the line when champion Mickey Ellison (13-4-0, 5KOs) clashes with the undefeated Thomas Whittaker-Hart (7-0-0, 3KOs).

Further down the card, John Hedges (6-0-0, 2KOs) returns in a six-round clash versus Ales Makovec (3-0-0) at light-heavyweight.

Popular heavyweight Johnny Fisher (6-0-0, 5KOs) takes on Dominik Musil (7-4-0, 5KOs) in a six-round encounter.

Super-welterweight prospect Jordan Reynolds (3-0-0, 1KO) also clashes with Jose Clavero (16-18-1, KOs) over six rounds.

Maisey Rose Courtney makes her professional debut against Judit Hachbold (5-17-0) at flyweight.

Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promote the show at Wembley’s OVO Arena and DAZN will broadcast the show. Coverage of the main card is set to begin at 7pm UK time.
