Tyson Fury halted Dereck Chisora after ten punishing rounds to leave the path clear for an undisputed showdown with Oleksandr Usyk in 2023.

Fury started fast and his dominance grew with each passing round.

Chisora kept coming forward but the 38-year-old quickly looked out of his depth.

Commentator Steve Bunce questioned whether the contest should continue as Chisora was frequently rocked by damaging uppercuts.

The fight made for an uncomfortable watch as the bout passed the halfway point with Chisora continuing to take hard blows.

Referee Victor Loughlin finally brought an end to the contest with twelve seconds remaining in the tenth after another Fury right-hand landed clean.

Attention turned to Usyk post-fight who was sitting ringside at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Daniel Dubois survived a horrendous opening round which saw him knocked down on three occasions to halt Kevin Lerena in the chief support.

A left-hand to the temple rocked Dubois with 1:08 remaining in the first to floor the 25-year-old.

Dubois appeared to indicate an injury to his right leg and took a knee twice in the final minute to hand the South African a huge advantage on the night.

Lerena strangely held off in the second when most would expect him to push for a stoppage.

The third saw the tide turned completely with Lerena floored by a straight right with 45 seconds remaining.

The final seconds of the round saw huge hooks rock Lerena to his core, though some looked to have landed after the bell had sounded.

Nevertheless referee Howard Foster waved the bout off to maintain Dubois’ status as mandatory challenger for the WBA.

The Ukrainian dominated for much of the affair at range with Mendy unable to close the gap in the first defence of his title.

Karol Itauma floored Vladimir Belujsky on the way to an eighth-round stoppage win at light-heavyweight, while Royston Barney-Smith halted Cruz Perez in the opening round at super-featherweight.

Isaac Lowe returned to winning ways at 130lbs with a dominant six-round performance against Sandeep Singh Bhatti.

Hosea Burton also ran out a comfortable winner against Darryl Sharp at cruiserweight.
