Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing have confirmed the signings of flyweight Sunny Edwards, super-lightweight Jack Catterall and super-flyweight Shannon Ryan.
All three were unveiled by the promotional outfit on Friday afternoon.
Edwards currently holds the IBF belt at flyweight after dominating Moruti Mthalane in April 2021.
Three successful defences have since followed and the former Team GB fighter is now setting his sights on the big names at 112lbs.
The 27-year-old has long spoken of his desire to face WBC titleholder Julio Cesar Martinez, who also operates under the Matchroom banner.
“I’ve been crying and dying for the big fights. I want the unifications, I want the Ring [Magazine title] then go up in weight and do it again”, Edwards said when he was unveiled as Matchroom’s latest signing on Friday.
“I want the legacy and I really want the opportunity to achieve my dream.”
Catterall meanwhile has not fought since his controversial split-decision defeat to Josh Taylor for the undisputed crown at 140lbs in February last year.
Negotiations for a rematch have since collapsed as Taylor now looks set to take on Teofimo Lopez Jr in the summer.
Promoter Hearn confirmed on Friday that the 29-year-old will fight on May 27th as the journey towards landing a second shot at world honours begins.
“I need some stability in my career now”, said Catterall.
“I’ve had the big fight [and] dipped my toes in there but I’m excited to build now and get back in a position to challenge for those big world title fights and be involved in some great nights moving forward.”
Catterall will also be managed and advised by Sam Jones moving forward.
Watford’s Ryan turned professional twelve months ago and has won all four of her contests since.
The 26-year-old, who is managed by Anthony Joshua‘s 258MGT, is yet to lose a round in the paid ranks.
