Liverpool featherweight Jazza Dickens (32-4, 12KOs) makes his professional ring return after a nine month hiatus against Argentine Hector Sosa (15-2, 8KOs) on Saturday.
The 32 year old takes on the South American over twelve rounds at the Dubai Studio City live on FITE TV in the UK.
Dickens outpointed Lerato Dlamini over ten in October to claim the lesser IBO title at 126lbs.
The bout was his second since a world title defeat to Kid Galahad 14 months previous as the Liverpudlian continues to chase down the big names at featherweight, both domestically and abroad.
Sosa meanwhile hasn’t faced anyone of note in his 17 pro outings but does have a win to his name this year, picking up a unanimous decision victory after ten rounds four months ago.
The undercard sees Ghana’s Alfred Lamptey (12-0, 8KOs) face-off versus the Philippines’ Richard Pumicpic (23-13-3, 7KOs) over ten at super-featherweight, while Canada-based super-lightweight Movladdin Biyarslanov (12-0, 10KOs) takes on Venezuelan Joniker Tovar (21-0-1, 16KOs) over the same distance.
Liverpool’s Jack Turner (1-0, 1KO) also features against India’s Ashish Kumar (1-3-1, 1KO) in a four-round super-bantamweight encounter.
