California’s Seniesa Estrada (24-0, 9KOs) defends her unified minimumweight titles against former flyweight champion Leonela Yudica (19-1-3, 1KO) in Las Vegas this weekend.

Fresh from adding the WBC belt four months ago, the 31 year old headlines against the Argentinian at the Palms Casino Resort in the early hours of Saturday morning UK time.

Estrada won all ten rounds on all three scorecards against Tina Rupprecht to unify the WBC and WBA belts at 105lbs.

A potential undisputed showdown against fellow unified champion Yokasta Valle lies in wait but Estrada must first deal with former champion Yudica.

The latter surrendered her IBF flyweight title by split-decision against Arely Mucino in October last year before rebounding with a closely-fought win at light-flyweight in April.

Yudica steps back down to minimumweight this weekend as she bids to become a two-weight world champion against one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the female code.

The Undercard:

Las Vegas super-lightweight Andres Cortes (19-0, 10KOs) faces California’s Xavier Martinez (18-1, 12KOs) over ten rounds, while New York super-featherweight Abraham Nova (22-1, 15KOs) takes on Jonathan Romero (35-1, 19KOs) over the same distance.

Dominican Republic’s Rohan Polanco (9-0, 5KOs) also collides with Panama’s Cesar Francis (12-1, 7KOs) over eight at 140lbs.
