K2 Promotions have confirmed that Oleksandr Usyk will defend his unified heavyweight titles against Daniel Dubois in Poland on August 26th.

The Ukrainian takes on WBA mandatory challenger Dubois at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw.

Usyk initially looked to land a fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury next for the undisputed championship before negotiations collapsed in March.

Attention then turned to British heavyweight Dubois who was called as mandatory challenger by the WBA in December.

Dubois landed the lesser WBA ‘Regular’ title with a fourth-round knockout victory against Trevor Bryant in June last year.

The 25 year old then followed with a third-round stoppage of Kevin Lerena after climbing off the canvas three times in the opening round.

TNT Sports (the new name for BT Sport from July 18th onwards) will broadcast the fight via pay-per-view in the UK.
